Trade OS·guide·Version 2

Daily operating checks

Schedule a daily Trade review, inspect stock and financial evidence, and follow exceptions through Tasks.

Set up the daily review

Open Trade OS → Today in Boni One. Select the business under Stock owner when shown. A company manager chooses Set up checks, a time and the time zone, then Save daily checks. New exceptions go to the check owner; existing Task assignments are preserved.

If offered, select Include independent Accounting checks to authorize continuing reads of that business’s connected books. Your current Finance access and the business’s Accounting connection are required. Each company and stock owner keeps its own policy and records.

Work from the actions

Choose Check now for an additional review, or let the daily schedule run. It continues in the background; Refresh reads the latest result. Open an action to inspect the affected item, batch, order or financial record and continue through Tasks.

Correct the original record in Inventory, Trade or Accounting. A later check closes the matching exception when its original evidence is repaired. Repeated checks keep the same unresolved action rather than creating another copy. Closing a Task does not establish a clean result: if the last check found issues, Today keeps Needs attention until a new check verifies the original records. Tasks do not change stock or post money.

Understand coverage

Open Check coverage to see what was observed. The review covers stock positions, batches, movements, orders, returns, collections and invoice handoffs. Independent Accounting checks also inspect book controls, bank-source freshness, original movement costing and recorded cost quantities.

Missing, stale or inconsistent evidence needs review. A recorded collection is not bank settlement, and an arithmetic stock match is not a physical count. A recent financial close alone does not establish current stock-cost coverage. Stock or books changing during a check can leave that observation incomplete; review the actions and check again after correcting the source.

Pause or recover

Open Daily check settings → Pause checks to stop future scheduled reviews. Existing Tasks remain. If the Time worker is unavailable, Today displays that state rather than promising a check. Failed checks retain a recovery action; inspect it before starting more work.

Receiving goods, dispatching an order, issuing an invoice and valuing stock remain separate actions in Inventory, Trade and Accounting. Daily checks read their evidence and create follow-up work; they do not perform those transactions.

Follow up on low stock

A Trade stock target adopted in Inventory → Replenishment also supplies its daily low-stock threshold. A paused target stops that low-stock check. Open Inventory to review the shortfall and outstanding orders before creating a purchase requirement. Source discrepancies and incomplete financial coverage retain their existing checks. See Stock targets and replenishment.
