Products, services, variants and combos
Build a reusable company catalog for selling and stock workflows.
Open the company catalog
Select the company in Boni One and open Catalog → Products & services. Your company administrator controls module access. Choose company books when more than one legal entity is available. Review the currency before entering a price.
The Catalog works independently of POS. Its base prices apply across outlets; a counter can use an outlet price in its own currency and company context.
Add a product or service
Choose Add product or service, enter the name, select the type and enter the price. A service can also have a duration. Choose Save item once.
Use More item settings for the item code, category, unit, HSN or SAC and status. Codes are generated for new items and can be changed before saving. Add barcode aliases when the same item has more than one scannable code. Configure the applicable tax components and whether the entered price includes them.
For physical products that need batch stock, enable Track stock by batch before the first save. Existing items retain their type, tracking policy and base unit, so earlier sales and movements keep their meaning.
Add variants
Open Variants and options and define a family with its choices, such as flavour or size. Add each sellable variant with its exact choice, price and barcode. Each variant is a distinct item for stock and sales; a batch is a receipt of that item, rather than another flavour option.
Make a combo
Choose Combo as the item type and set the total price. In Included items and combos, choose fixed contents for a set that adds directly to a sale, or let the customer choose from groups. Set the included quantities, minimum and maximum choices, defaults and optional upgrade prices.
Products and services can be included together. Each component keeps its own identity; Inventory consumes the tracked component quantities.
Continue across the business
Receive tracked items in Inventory. POS uses the same product, variant and combo editor, with the selected counter’s price scope. Publish and renew the counter when its prepared catalog needs updating.
Connected catalogs preserves the existing connected-channel view and its price controls. Channel publication follows that connection’s own workflow; saving a shared item does not automatically publish it to a marketplace.
Recover an interrupted save
Keep the same browser profile and company. If a save needs checking, use Check saved catalog to look up its original outcome before creating anything else. Reloading the page preserves that pending original; clearing browser data can remove the local recovery record.
