Boni POS·guide·Version 1
Boni POS
A quick counter for products and services, connected to the rest of Boni One.
Sell and keep moving
Boni POS brings products, services, customer carts and payments into a dedicated counter. Catalog, Inventory, CRM and Accounting stay connected in the same company.
Open Commerce → Point of Sale in Boni One. Choose the correct company before opening a register. Managers use Manage point of sale for setup.
Start with your counter
- Set up the register, its payments and normal company invoice settings.
- Add products or services. Use variants for separately sold options and combos for fixed contents or customer choices.
- For tracked products, receive stock into Inventory, then publish the catalog.
- Enroll the device, set its unlock PIN, sync and renew its authorization, and assign the intended batches to the register.
- Start selling. Add a customer only when useful.
Connected company records
| What happens at the counter | Where it continues |
|---|---|
| A named sale or return | The customer's CRM activity |
| A completed sale | Its original receipt and normal company invoice |
| A tracked sale | The assigned batch and shared Inventory records |
| A commercial return | The original sale and its credit/refund status |
Each company keeps its own customers, stock, legal entity and books. Switching companies does not merge their saved registers.
For products and services, see Catalog and stock. For payment certainty and corrections, see Payments and invoices. Read Offline work and devices before relying on a disconnected counter.
