Boni Inventory·guide·Version 1

Locations, batches and stock history

Receive and move batch stock with a clear original movement history.

Open company stock

Select the company in Boni One and open Inventory. Choose its company books when more than one legal entity is available. Inventory uses the tracked products and exact variants from Catalog; it needs no POS register or device.

Receive a batch

Create the stock location, then choose Receive stock. Select the product and location, enter the batch and quantity in the item’s base unit, and give the movement a reason. Add manufacture or expiry times when needed. The form labels the time zone used for entry; stored records keep their original time instant.

Review and save once. If the response is interrupted, keep the browser data and use Check saved stock to reconcile that original save before entering another movement.

Move and manage quantities

Use Issue or Transfer on the relevant batch. Transfer chooses a destination location and moves the recorded quantity; each location keeps its own balance.

Under More actions, place stock in quality hold, release inspected held stock, record damage or dispose of quarantined stock. Use the action matching what happened physically, with a quantity and reason. Stock held for quality, damage, transit or register allocation is distinct from available stock.

Record a stock count

On the batch, open More actions → Count stock. Enter the on-hand quantity you actually counted, or choose Matches recorded quantity when it agrees. Add a note if useful, then choose Save count. Boni calculates the difference against that recorded batch; an unchanged count is recorded too.

Count on-hand goods only. Reserved stock, transit, quality hold and damage remain separate. If stock changed while you counted, check the original saved count before making a correction. Use its displayed cancellation workflow for an unposted request, refresh stock and enter the new observation.

In History, the Last recorded count section shows the reported quantity, earlier balance, difference, time and reference. Later movements can change the current balance. Keep physical count evidence with your operating records; recorded observations and movement arithmetic are separate from independent verification or financial valuation.

Inspect batch history

Open History on the batch. Review the quantities, reconciliation and dated movements, load earlier movements when needed, and open a movement’s source details. History compares recorded bucket balances with the original movement ledger. A balanced result confirms recorded quantity arithmetic; investigate a result needing review before treating the figures as settled.

Connect the counter and the books

POS stock setup assigns part of the available batch stock to a register device. Its accepted sales and returns remain linked to original stock records. Before handling a POS return manually, check its linked return receipt so the same physical stock is not received twice.

Accounting owns invoices, taxes, financial journals and inventory valuation. Receiving or reconciling a quantity in this workspace is a stock operation; follow the company’s Accounting workflow for the financial treatment.
