Boni Quotations
Turn complete enquiries into ready-to-review quotations in seconds using your catalog, pricing, tax, terms, approvals, and quotation process.
The short version
Boni Quotations turns a complete buyer enquiry into a ready-to-review quotation in seconds. It uses the products or services you sell, your approved pricing and formulas, taxes, terms, validity, discounts, approval limits, and document format.
Boni sets the product up with your team because every business quotes differently. Your team continues to own its prices, commercial decisions, approvals, and customer relationship.

What changes for the sales team
Instead of rebuilding the logic for every enquiry, the team teaches Boni the process once. When an enquiry arrives, Boni identifies the relevant quotation type, uses the facts the buyer already supplied, asks only for required missing details, and prepares the calculated draft when those details are complete.
The normal flow is:
- Receive the enquiry. It can come from Bow Chat, email, a form, a call or voice workflow, CRM, Bino, or an approved integration.
- Understand the request. Boni extracts the product, service, quantity, dates, location, scope, constraints, and other relevant facts without changing the source message.
- Ask what is missing. The AI follows the Quote Playbook for that request and asks the smallest useful set of questions.
- Prepare the draft. Boni uses approved source values and creates a versioned, calculated quotation draft.
- Review exceptions. A named person reviews configured discounts, unusual terms, high values, missing rates, or other exceptions.
- Deliver and follow through. The approved channel records delivery, while CRM keeps the reply, revision, next action, and commercial outcome connected.
Your Quote Playbook
The Quote Playbook is the business-approved instruction set for one product, service, project, rental, or other quotation family. It records:
- which buyer requests belong to that family and which do not;
- the facts that must be known before pricing;
- product or service options, variants, bundles, units, and quantities;
- the approved catalog, price book, tiers, formulas, currency, and rounding;
- taxes and place-of-supply inputs;
- availability, service area, capacity, lead time, delivery, or travel rules;
- validity, inclusions, exclusions, dependencies, payment terms, and approved clauses;
- discount authority, approval thresholds, and exception owners; and
- the quotation template, supporting documents, delivery channel, and sender policy.
If a judgement call has not been documented, Boni treats it as a question or exception. It does not treat uncertainty as permission to guess.
What “in seconds” means
The timing starts when every fact required by the relevant Quote Playbook is present and its authoritative pricing inputs are available. Before that, Boni helps complete the enquiry. After that, it can create the ready-to-review draft immediately instead of waiting for someone to rebuild the quotation manually.
A draft is not the same as a sent quotation. The usual setup keeps delivery behind review. A business may later approve automatic delivery for a tightly bounded quotation family, but only through its configured policy.
What stays connected
Boni Quotations is part of the existing Boni operating system:
| Record or action | Where it belongs |
|---|---|
| Buyer message, replies, and delivery evidence | Bow Chat or the approved communication channel |
| Customer, company, opportunity, stage, and next commercial action | Boni CRM |
| Quote Playbook, rules, examples, and source links | Private Knowledge |
| Calculated quotation draft, totals, tax context, and versions | Boni Accounting |
| Discount, term, or missing-data approval | Boni Tasks and the responsible operating module |
| Requirement understanding and draft assistance | The scoped Boni agent workflow |
That keeps one commercial record rather than creating another disconnected spreadsheet or quote database.
Controls that matter
- No invented prices. Missing or conflicting prices, formulas, availability, taxes, or required facts cause a question, hold, or human route.
- Deterministic money. Approved line items and tax rules determine totals; AI can prepare and explain but does not become the calculation authority.
- A reviewable history. Revisions create versions instead of silently replacing what was offered earlier.
- Named approvals. Discounts, values, terms, and exceptions follow the limits your business approves.
- Approved delivery only. A draft cannot be sent through an unapproved sender, audience, or channel.
- Tenant isolation. One organization's price books, buyer data, examples, and commercial terms do not configure another organization's product.
How setup starts
Choose one quotation family that loses the most time or buyer intent today. Boni then reviews representative enquiries, catalogs, rate cards, old quotations, templates, terms, approvals, and exceptions with the accountable business owner. Together, we build and test the Quote Playbook against successful, incomplete, unusual, and rejected examples.
The first live mode produces ready-to-review drafts. Expansion to more quotation families, branches, price books, integrations, or automatic delivery happens only after the first path is reliable.
What to measure
Measure the time from complete required inputs to draft, time spent completing the enquiry, first-pass approval, revisions, approval delays, delivery time, accepted outcomes, missing-source cases, duplicates, and unauthorized-send attempts. Compare conversion or revenue only across a defined cohort; Boni does not promise a guaranteed commercial result.
Availability
Boni Quotations is available with Boni-configured onboarding for MSMEs, manufacturers, distributors, service businesses, agencies, contractors, rental operators, and larger sales teams. Pricing depends on the quote families, systems, templates, channels, and operating rules involved.
