Sell at the counter
Scan or tap items, switch customer carts and complete a sale.
Add the first item
Open the prepared register and unlock it. Scan a barcode or use Search products or scan a barcode. You can also tap an item tile.
Choose the exact variant when the product has options. A fixed combo adds its configured contents directly; a choice combo lets the customer choose from the configured groups. Distinct choices stay separate in the cart.
Keep customer details optional
A walk-in sale does not need a customer record. Use Customer or Add customer when you want to find an existing person. Search with the customer's phone number or other supported details and choose the matching record. Review the selected person before completing the sale.
Handle several customers
Use the cart tabs to switch between customers, or Hold sale to retain a draft and continue with the next customer. Return to the saved cart when ready. A held cart is not a completed sale or payment.
On a laptop, use these shortcuts. On a phone or tablet, tap items and use Charge.
| Action | Shortcut |
|---|---|
| Product search | F2 or / |
| Customer lookup | F4 |
| Charge | F8 |
| New cart | Alt + N |
| First three visible carts | Alt + 1, Alt + 2, Alt + 3 |
Choose a batch only when needed
Tracked items use the counter's configured batch order by default. To choose a specific assigned batch, select Batch · Automatic on the cart line, choose the batch and confirm Use these batches. Each tracked component of a combo retains its own batch choice. An unavailable batch needs another selection; it is not silently substituted.
Complete and continue
Select Charge, choose the tender and enter the required payment details. For cash, enter the amount received and review the change. Complete the sale once, then continue with the next customer.
Check the register's synchronization status. A locally saved sale and a cloud-synced sale are different states. Keep the same device available while work is waiting to sync.
Find a sale or make a correction
Open Receipts, select the original sale and review its invoice status. Use the linked return action for a return; avoid entering a second sale to correct the first. Payments and invoices explains credits, refund requests and confirmed refunds.
