# Configure Groups Monitoring in Panel Bow Chat

Configure inactive-group rules, review candidates, queue nudges safely, and handle delivery states in panel.bow.chat.

## Open the module

Sign in at [panel.bow.chat](https://panel.bow.chat), choose the organization, and open **Groups Monitoring**. The existing route and permission may still use the internal name `group-slas`, but the customer-facing panel is Groups Monitoring.

Choose the WhatsApp Web inbox first. The panel has three modules:

- **Inactive groups** — configure and review inactivity nudges.
- **SLA settings** — configure response, resolution, participants, notifications, and related SLA behavior.
- **SLA reports** — inspect activity, conversation, and SLA outcomes.

## Configure an inactive-group rule

In **Inactive groups**, review these fields for the selected inbox:

| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Enable this rule | Starts scheduled activity checks for this inbox. It does not bypass review. |
| No received message for | Number of inactive days before a group enters review. |
| Wait before eligible again | Cooldown after a confirmed nudge. |
| Maximum sends in one worker run | A safety limit for each background batch. |
| Activity refresh interval | How often the runtime reconciles group activity. Incoming webhooks update activity sooner when available. |
| Timezone | Timezone used for dates shown in the review list. |
| Default nudge message | Starting copy; it can be changed again during final review. |

Click **Save rule**. When an enabled rule is saved, the panel also performs the first activity refresh. Use **Refresh activity** for an on-demand reconciliation.

## Review and queue nudges

The review list shows the group name, days without a received message, last-received time, stable group identifier, status, and **Open in Bow Chat** link.

1. Open any unfamiliar group in Bow Chat and confirm the conversation context.
2. Select only the groups that should receive this nudge.
3. Review or edit **Message to snapshot for selected groups**. The approved text is stored with the audit record.
4. Click **Approve and queue**. Approval queues background work; it does not send from the browser request.

The sender rechecks each group immediately before delivery. If a customer has sent a newer message, that group's nudge is cancelled automatically.

## Understand statuses

- **Needs review** — candidate is ready for a person to inspect.
- **Queued** or **Sending** — approved background work is in progress.
- **Sent** — Bow Chat confirmed the message and recorded its id.
- **Send failed** — a definite failure can be selected and reviewed again.
- **Check delivery** — delivery became uncertain after sending began. Check the Bow Chat conversation; the system will not retry automatically.
- **Cancelled** — newer incoming activity made the queued nudge stale.

Only a bounded list is rendered, with review and delivery issues first. Process that queue before older sent history.

## If the list is empty or unavailable

Confirm that a WhatsApp Web inbox is selected, the rule is enabled, and **Refresh activity** succeeds. A newly configured rule may correctly show no matching inactive groups. If the module reports that it is unavailable, the tenant runtime or dedicated data connection has not been commissioned; contact the Boni administrator instead of repeatedly saving.

If Boni One CRM is enabled for the tenant, the CRM contact can show the group identifier and clickable Bow Chat conversation link. Message bodies remain in Bow Chat. See [Groups Monitoring in Bow Chat](/bow-chat/groups-monitoring) for the behavior and CRM boundary.
